100 portraits goes live
If you remember my daunting personal project which I aimed to do a portrait a day for 100 days -Well happily I can say it is complete! ..and The Tom Thomson Art gallery in Owen Sound invited me to showcase my project in store front windows to promote the ASAP -"The Available Space Art Project "here. This project is dear to my heart as it is all about using empty storefronts and filling them with local art to bring the city alive and promote these spaces in
a whole new way to prospective renters/ buyers..
Another project I have been working on is a themed series called "Life is a carnival" using the circus as my muse and backdrop..
Children's Art classes continue to be fun, energized and illuminating in my Chesley Studio !
Last but not least I have been ever so pleased to have two of my Tall Girl paintings featured in my good friend Liz Russ's beautiful gallery space Studio 888 in Toronto for the month of November !
I hope you are having a creative and inspired Autumn..and with winter approaching it's time to hunker down and appreciate indoor time to make wonderful Art!
